Vigilant Brewing Announces The Freedom Label Project Featuring Patriot Pilsner to Celebrate 250 Years of American Independence
Vigilant Brewing proudly announces the release of its community‑driven Freedom Label Project: Patriot Pilsner, a limited‑edition craft beer honoring 250 years of American freedom and supporting the nation’s oldest continuous Fourth of July celebration in Bristol, Rhode Island.
The Freedom Label Project, created by Vigilant Brewing, is a collaborative fundraising initiative powered by local small business owners to support the Bristol Fourth of July Committee. This year's inaugural edition raised over $12,000 - a milestone the team aims to surpass in 2027.
The Patriot Pilsner label features a bold, heritage‑inspired design celebrating America’s Semi-quincentennial and the spirit of local businesses that keep Bristol’s traditions thriving. Twenty‑four participating small businesses are showcased on the can, symbolizing the unity, pride, and entrepreneurial backbone of the region.
“The Freedom Label Project is about community first — small businesses lifting each other up while honoring the longest‑running celebration of freedom in the country,” said Kevin Amaral, owner and operator of Vigilant Brewing. “Patriot Pilsner is more than a beer. It’s a tribute to Bristol, to American independence, and to the people who make this town what it is.”
Patriot Pilsner will be available throughout the East Bay and at participating retailers, restaurants, and special Fourth of July events. 100% of the proceeds raised by The Freedom Label Project directly supports the Bristol Fourth of July Committee and its mission to preserve and grow the historic celebration.
